Series of 9 lessons that deliver training for the examined Unit 3 as part of the new BTEC Tech Award Engineering. The lessons cover quality control, evaluating products and redesigning. They are designed to give students the skills required to complete the Examination they will sit. Part of the lessons focus on measuring the quality of a set of 10 Aluminium draw rollers I made, this could be easily changed. Designed to be taught as part of the new V Cert NCFE Engineering qualification. I have created a series of theory lessons that can be taught alongside the practical projects I have uploaded here. There are 3 theory booklets in total containing up to 10 theory topics in each. Lesson PowerPoints include retrieval tasks, lesson objectives and fully embedded GIF animations (6 second looped video clips) demonstrating the content. Theory handout includes structured comprehension questions and an extension task. I have developed this MOCK NEA to mirror what students will be asked to do for the real thing. It supports them in putting all the learning from Y10 into action with an increasing independence and appreciation to timings and deadlines. The project is very simple to make allowing students the space to focus on getting all aspects completed to the highest quality with the given timescales.

I have a set of 3 pull up banner posters for sale, they were printed onto roller banners and brought out for options evenings. They are great when trying to explain to pupils what the main differences are between the DT subjects. I am able to supply Photoshop file if you require changes to be made.
